VFReBulletin - error correction!


08.08.2018.- The error in route processing is now fixed! Please note the slightly different way of working when changing a route:

You can add, move or remove route points directly on the map. Click inside the light blue corridor on the left to add a route point, drag it to the desired point with the mouse and remove it by clicking the right mouse button.

With a click on "Show on Map" you can display your briefing on the map. To read a NOTAM, click on the black center - click on the map outside the bubble to close the NOTAM window. If you still need to adjust the route, click on the "edit" button on the left to unlock the route. Insert your changes and call up a briefing again.

As there have been occasional misunderstandings in the past, we have made a small adjustment to the definition and description of the briefing corridor.

The width of a corridor can be 10NM, 20NM or 50NM along your planned flight path. The system then displays all NOTAMs that are relevant within this corridor. A corridor of e.g. 20 NM covers the airspace of 10 NM to the left and right along your flight route. By default, a corridor of 20NM is preset, and your saved templates have been adjusted accordingly.

New: 8.33 kHz channel spacing

Since 01 JAN 2018, flights shall not be operated in airspace where carriage of radio is required unless the aircraft radio equipment has the 8.33 kHz channel spacing capability. For a flight, planning to operate in an airspace where 8.33 kHz channel spacing capability is required the letter “Y” shall be inserted in item 10 of the flight plan.
